Sara DuBose of Montgomery, Ala., the author of five novels, has had a nonfiction book published. Tanya Eavenson of Tuscaloosa, Ala., in 2017 published the novel To Gain a Mommy, a book in her series “Gaining Love.” She also published an article in Southern Writers Magazine giving a behind-the-scenes look at her novel Restored.


Doyce Powell of Dallas, Ga., is the new travel columnist for the Dallas New Era newspaper. He also continues to publish his own travel guide, which is in its fifth season and has been approved for display in all Georgia welcome centers. He has also begun a series of rack cards for display and is planning to start a travel blogging group.


Ann Knowles of Wilmington, N.C., became a gold member of The Christian Editor Connection and The Christian Proofreaders and Editors Network in February 2017. She published The Extraordinary Presence of God: True Stories of Faith and Courage in Ordinary Lives in 2015 and was on staff at the GPCWC in 2013 and 2016.
